online help

We have extensive experience developing online help systems for software and Web applications ranging in size from shareware programs to enterprise-wide systems. Additionally, we've created online help systems in place of printed documentation to deploy in-house style guides for editors, crash-course guides for company software trainers who needed to know and use a limited set of Adobe FrameMaker functionality to produce their training manuals, getting started guides for students using an e-learning system, and procedural documentation.

Our preferred help authoring tools are AuthorIT and RoboHelp. If you already use another tool in-house, such as Madcap Software's Flare or another well-known authoring tool, we likely have some experience using it. If your staff will maintain the online help going forward, we'll provide them with checklists and necessary process documentation to help them update and generate the files.
